The discovery of evidence that wars involving superweapons raged on Earth thousands of years ago has become the sensation of our time. Huge craters containing radiation have been found. Boulders of incredible size are scattered all over the ground, as if from powerful explosions. How can this be explained? The answer lies in the holy book—the Bible. It is written there that there were giants—mutants—on Earth: the Rephaim, the Zuzim—these were terrifying people, great giants—and the Emim—horrible giants. Fire fell from the sky and destroyed them.
The chronology of certain events is described in the Holy Book. The Creator came to visit his friend Abraham. They were left alone together. The Creator frankly told him that He was heading to Sodom and Gomorrah, the city of debauchery. Abraham understood perfectly well how it would all end. The only thing that could have stopped the destruction of the cities was the presence of righteous people within them. The only righteous person in the city was Lot. Angels led him, his wife, and his daughters out of the cursed city. The inevitable happened. The most powerful explosion in human history occurred. A rain of fire and brimstone poured down from the sky. The lowest point on planet Earth appeared. This is the Dead Sea region. A huge tectonic fault preserves the memory of the catastrophe. How many more times has God come down?
The story is about Nineveh. A vast city. By ancient standards—a metropolis. The ruler and the people living in the city were filled with utter evil. Sinister conquerors. They engaged in expansion and the forced relocation of peoples. They dragged people by hooks pierced through their noses. At the city gates stood cages holding defeated kings. On the walls hung the skins of sinister animals. The people of Nineveh were unmatched in their cruelty. And so, the Creator commanded the prophet Jonah to go into the city and prophesy that in 40 days the city would be destroyed.
Jonah did not want to go to the city of the wicked. But, unable to resist the will of the Creator, he went to Nineveh. And he began to walk through the city as far as he could in a single day, preaching and saying, “Forty days more, and Nineveh will be destroyed!” And the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least. This word reached the king of Nineveh, and he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, put on sackcloth, sat in ashes, and commanded that a proclamation be made and announced in Nineveh in the name of the king and his nobles: “Neither people nor livestock, neither oxen nor sheep, shall eat anything, nor go out to pasture, nor drink water; and people and livestock alike shall be covered with sackcloth and cry out earnestly to God, and everyone shall turn from his evil ways and from the violence of his hands. Who knows? Perhaps God will yet have mercy and turn away His burning anger from us, and we will not perish.” And God saw what they did, that they had turned from their evil ways, and God relented concerning the disaster He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not bring it.
The people’s sincere repentance averted the Creator’s burning wrath and the inevitable catastrophe. Inca history records that they saw ferocious giants. But in an instant, God destroyed all those terrifying giants. Fire rained down from the sky and consumed them in a single moment.
The Bible preserves historical accounts of the Prophet Elijah, who called down fire from heaven! Elijah said to his enemies: “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty soldiers.” And fire came down from heaven every time at Elijah’s word, destroying and burning his enemies. Elisha, Elijah’s disciple, was in a city surrounded by enemies. His servant was in a panic: “My lord, what shall we do?” Elisha replied: “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, open his eyes so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the whole mountain was filled with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
The Bible records a historically verified event in which a single angel struck down 185,000 elite warriors in a single night. Today, archaeologists have unearthed the remains of this vast army. Just think: if a single angel could strike down such a multitude, what kind of power must the army of fiery horses and chariots standing behind Elisha possess?
When Jesus came to earth, He said: “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning; behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm you.” With the coming of Christ, the devil has been condemned. He awaits the execution of his sentence and his subsequent imprisonment. That is why Christ told us to tread upon the spiritual enemy. For over 2,000 years, the church has marched victoriously across the earth. Christianity is filling the planet because God Himself is on the Church’s side! Soon, the world will be shaken by a momentous event: the second coming of Jesus Christ to earth. He will return and reign on Earth for 1,000 years.
The world is now coming to an end. The Bible says that knowledge will increase in the last days. Scientists are conducting experiments to cross the human genome with that of animals. Think about it: if a human were crossed with a toad, how could such a creature live? It wouldn’t understand who it is—a toad or a human? It would have both human emotions and animal instincts. How could such a creature find its place? Could it ever be loved? It cannot connect with either a human or a toad. Experiments with human DNA will create mutants.
The devil’s final pawn will be the Antichrist. He is a beast in human form, a mutated being. He will gather an army and march on Jerusalem. From the unholy trinity—the devil, the Antichrist, and the false prophet—unholy spirits resembling toads will emerge to deceive people. These are signs that the end of all demonic and human rule is near. Jesus will return, and the devil’s armies, led by the Antichrist, will be defeated by a single word from Christ.
The Book of Revelation describes these events. And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key to the Abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he cast him into the Abyss, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, so that he might no longer deceive the nations. He is a beast, and he is treated as a beast. Into chains and into the abyss! After this, Christ’s thousand-year reign on Earth will begin! Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection: the second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth and to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. Then fire will come down from heaven and consume them!
Fire from heaven, sent by God, will consume all evil! Thus will the history of the earth come to an end. The devil will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And then there will be the judgment of the great white throne. All the dead, both great and small, will stand before God, and the books will be opened. Another book will be opened, which is the book of life; and the dead will be judged according to what is written in the books, in accordance with their deeds. Then the sea will give up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades will give up the dead who were in them; and each will be judged according to his deeds. And death and Hades will be cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever is not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.
